The Suprolo ABC for children was written by Sunya de la Terra as an experiment. It is intended to be seen and talked about with children. The book does not pretend to be anything special in the sense of artistic or otherwise. It does portray an atmosphere of a different way of life and being in life. A way of life that is not commonplace. However, this is not expressly stated. It speaks from the texts and drawings. The special thing is that the writer is also the illustrator and has had a hand in the entire layout of the book.
The nice thing about the book is that it respects and does not belittle children. In fact, children are highly regarded. Hence, occasionally a word is included in Greek or Latin, where this is not common in a children's book. Expressions are also used that do not often occur in everyday word use between adults and children.
The book is not just a challenge for the children who read it or get it read. The adult who reads the book or the adult who reads it for herself will also often wonder what the writer has in mind with certain situations that are discussed in the book. The book raises countless questions that are not always easy to answer directly and that is also the charm of this book.

Suprolos live among the people everywhere in the world. These light beings, invisible to everyone, are capable of the most wonderful things. Where they appear, a new adventure begins and they bring joy, happiness and playfulness to our otherwise mundane existence. They appear in a wide variety of situations, with friends and enemies.
The five mysterious Milk Drinkers from Lauredia know the suprolos inside and out and carry an infinite peace, calmness and joy within them. Two of them are even the creators of the suprolos.
On the other hand, there is the refined, luxurious world of the Spanish Bluminsky family, owners of the billion-dollar company Mundi Sales. They built up their wealth almost unnoticed by selling suprolo licenses. Remarkably, the employees in this company seem to be messing around a bit, making it a mystery why customers keep flowing in.
The special thing is that everyone loves the suprolos, even if no one knows exactly what they are.
In sharp contrast is the Black Gang, who fiercely oppose the spread of the suprolos. They seize every opportunity to damage or destroy the suprolos and Mundi Sales. They don't shy away from anything –, they don't even rule out using an atomic bomb.
The game of the suprolos takes place amidst people's ordinary daily lives, with their loves and conflicts, their difficulties and problems. However, for the suprolos, there are no problems. They always know how to deal with it.
